Meet Bobbi Boston
“I began practicing yoga in 1996 in Sydney, Australia with Simon Borg Olivier. I knew from my first class that this was my path; to study and to teach. After 7 years, I decided to attend a 9 month residential training in Byron Bay, Australia. I am amazed at the healing power of yoga. I believe in a holistic approach therefore my personal practice encompasses meditation, pranayama (breathing techniques) and asana (postures) as well as the daily practice of gratitude, compassion and determination.”
Bobbi has lived, studied and taught yoga in Australia, Thailand, India and the US. Her own practice is Ashtanga Yoga which she teaches daily. She is also skilled with teaching Therapeutic/Restorative, Pre Natal, Aging Adults, Yoga for Kids and Yoga in Recovery. A dedicated student and a gifted teacher who continues her teaching education with her teacher in Mysore, India, R Sharath Jois after the passing of Guruji; Sri K Patthabi Jois. In the Iyengar system with Glenn Ceresoli, incorporating those critical principles into her teaching style. Ayurvedic studies in Kerala, India, Therapeutic Yoga and Insight Meditation residential retreats. She teaches group classes, private lessons, workshops and retreats. She has received the blessing of Sri K Pattabhi Jois before his passing and his grandson R Sharath Jois authorizing her to teach Ashtanga Yoga.
